Surf and Turf

Numerous studies and anecdotal records report the healing capacity of shark and bovine cartilage. Over the last 30 years, cartilage has been shown to accelerate wound healing, have potent anti-inflammatory capacity, alleviate autoimmune diseases (including rheumatoid arthritis), relieve osteoarthritis, heal bowel irritation, help scleroderma, eliminate the rash of Herpes simplex and Herpes zoster (and of eczema), end the pain of dry socket, ameliorate (and often clear) the lesions of severe psoriasis, and curb allergic reactions to insect, plant, and chemical toxins. And perhaps most important, it is effective in the treatment of some cancers.

A Note to Animal Lovers:

All bovine and shark cartilage used for supplemental purposes is by-product of the cattle and fishing industries. Cancer, arthritis, psoriasis, and some of the other conditions mentioned in this newsletter are serious, painful, resistant to treatment, sometimes life-threatening, and other times, downright fatal. Accrued evidence indicates that cartilage should be taken seriously in the treatment of these illnesses. It also implies that prophylactic doses keep the problem in remission. I am not interested in convincing readers to take these supplements as preventive measures and do not condone that use. There are many other effective ways to protect your health, including a healthy diet with lots of fruits, veggies, and adequate protein, regular exercise, a supplement program, including ample antioxidants, and at least one good belly laugh every day.
