Brighten Your Day — Eat Some Algae!
This is an unprecedented time on the
planet. World hunger is rampant; the population is increasing exponentially;
much of our air and water are polluted and our topsoil, depleted; the ozone
layer is disappearing; and, although the average person in the Western world
has adequate amounts of food to eat, many of us will die as a result of not
eating enough of the right foods. Nowhere has it been written that plankton
and pond scum shall save us, but they certainly have all the right stuff.
These humble, primitive life forms may
be as close as we ever come to discovering manna from Heaven. They are whole
foods, containing all the nutrition needed to sustain life. They are replete
with protein, carbohydrates, essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals,
antioxidants and other phytonutrients, including chlorophyll in the highest
content of any known plant. Merely adding 1-3 grams of algae to your
regular food intake each day can improve the quality of your life.
