Just saying the word ‘fracking‘ conjures up all sorts of things that don’t sound like much fun to have done to you. It’s not like the word ‘twerking‘, for example. One feels like something harsh being done to you, while the other sounds like something you might do yourself – preferably behind closed doors.
Fracking is one of those discussions we should all be having. Our water, food and air quality are all impacted by this desperate attempt to extract the last once of profit from a dying hydrocarbon industry. It seems that any cost – even the end of life as we know it, is worth the price.
